Mid-Autumn Festival 2008!!!

Like all other years, we continue to preserve the tradition of celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival (zhong1 qiu1 jie2) by putting up performances on the stage set up on the state land beside Kong Chow.

But this year is different - almost all performances (ranging from martial arts to lion dance) other than the karaoke singing, were staged by kongchow kidz and kungfu kids (trained under the china chen sifu).

Also, there were many activites such as riddle guessing (cai1 deng1 mi2), kicking chap-teh etc that promoted interaction with audience from all walks of life (*clap clap clap!!!*)

The set up of the new youth committee seems to have produced some very encouraging results by revamping this festive celebration to attract more new blood and give it a refreshing look.

Okay, here's the photos many have been urging me to post. they give only a glimpse of our v enjoyable Kong Chow mid-autumn festival. So if u've missed out the fun, do be more active and check out our Kong Chow events. Or even better, join us and be part of the kong chow family!
